Soldier knocked unconscious in unprovoked attack in Oswaldtwistle (From Lancashire Telegraph)

Comes home from a war zone unscathed and attacked whilst walking home.
hope the perpertrators are soon arrested and dealt with severly

I'm glad that it looks like they've got the thugs. Been up to Stanhill Club several times, never seen a hint of trouble up there, not totally safe anywhere though now is it!:(

Terrible.

Those three thugs should be sent to Basra, after they've had whatever punishment they are going to get...which hopefully will be more than a slapped wrist.

I was quite shocked.

What a disgrace.

I can't understand these unprovoked attacks, it's very frightening.

I hope the culprits are caught and the lad makes a quick recovery. :(

Well im pretty sure this lads mates will have something to say about these cowardly scumbags when they come to see the lad. :(
They should be sent out to afghan for a few weeks to fight properly on the front line , They wouldnt be so cocky then. It really angers me when you hear of a group of them kicking the hell out of ONE person. :mad:

I really hope these thugs have the book thrown at them . :mad:

This is a disgrace, but unfortunately not an isolated incident. A chap who lives near me, was kicked senseless a fortnight ago, he had a broken eye socket and a broken jaw, plus other cuts and bruises. This chap was attacked near the Coop supermarket across from the Golden Cross, don't think they've got anybody for it yet

These three thugs are probably dole dossers who are very much jealous of this young lad!
