Hey i dont want tosay much be cause they have just retarmac,t john street in ossy they started yesterday, and they finished it to day so it was about two year,s before it was done before so they must have some brass from some were.

Know they have done a good job down here in Clayton.

Even though the pedestrian traffic islands and bollards on Pickup Street are not particularly artistic .. just lacking in a little bit of design to fit in with surroundings.

Many of the contributors to this website have lived or been associated with Accy, Church, Ossy in the past and now live elsewhere, even as far as Spain.
Even now as I reside in a far off land. :eek: I am still capable of forming my opinion on local issues, and if the occasional thread wander, which makes the subject interesting without point scoring then I'm all for it. :)

I would expect the surface on John Street to have lasted longer than 2 years. Sounds like it was a very poor job the first time. Another waste of our money maybe.

Kate what you fail to grasp is any road repairs at this time of year, repairs people have been crying out for, for years, has more to do with an event happening on Thursday the 7th of May, between the hours of 7am and 10pm, than the wishes of the public :rolleyes:
