The main reason is that the government frown on it.....only because we may upset some of the ethnic minority ( who, dare I say seem to be the majority nowadays) :(

As well as being the patron saint of England, Portugal, Cyprus, Serbia, Bulgaria, Macedonia, and Moscow, amongst other places, he's also the patron saint of skin diseases, and syphilis.:eek:

Happy St George Day to one and all. Had a good day at work today. Organised a St George's day at work were we all dressed up in red and white, had a traditional English lunch, quiz about all things English, played music by English bands and groups. Plus a few other things but at the moment can't think, but i know we did. Brilliant to see so many join in, must have been at least 80% in red and white. So a good day had by all.

Sure it'll slip down nicely Jaysay!, havn't a clue what the English Whisky is like, i just got the Ad sent via email from a firm i'd ordered some Scottish Whisky from at xmas, doubt it will prove popular "up there" though!:D:D
