Just got a letter through the post for the parent/guardian of my youngest child Rhys

Opens it, it's from the school

Uh-oh :D

But no, this letter is telling me they would like to let me know that my son has demonstrated continual hard work and has an outstanding attitude to learning

It then goes on to say that his commitment and good attitude is something they value in the school

Well done Rhys! :D

Have never had anything like this before and I think it's great :)

Peel Park have been sending certificates and letters home for a while, it's a great way of recognising when a child has done something to be proud of!
My daughter's school sends postcards thru the post doing the same thing.
Much better than opening a bill when you get home!

Good on you youngster! It sounds like a good idea, we usually get stars and stickers stuck on the kids jumpers, or certificates sent home with them.

Yeah we also get these which is why I was suprised

He has stickers from the teacher almost everyday
And has also gotten "The Star Pupil Award" which is a certificate

So the letter, on top of the others he has received in the past is just great :)
