Foreign Students go Missing
There was a report last night BBC Northwest that foreign students are enrolling at colleges, obtaining visa's and then just going missing, never to be seen again, what are they up to, ask myself. The A6 Premier College said that 50 students had not reported for any classes whilst another reported that 8 had gone missing, a Home Office spokesman said they would be tracked down, ya reght. The most amazing thing about these "Colleges" is they are just like rooms over the top of kebab houses and the like, just what is going on:(:eek::eek:

I'm surprised that one of these establishments has not yet been located among the dreaming spires of Ossy. Maybe when Miss Pain moves her bondage shop from Accy to Union Road then an opportunity may arise to stick Gobbinland University above her dungeon.

Re: Foreign Students go Missing
i watched that n the M.P. interviewed said they are notified as soon as they are absent from college, but whats the answer? it beats the hell out of me:confused: ya cannot possibly keep tabs on every individual that enters the country. yet these who vanish are then "LOST" the only way i can see to prevent this is STOP anyone entering from abroad. n thats not practical.

Maybe a more intense interview into their reasons for wanting a visa by the authorities ih their country before said visa is granted?

Re: Foreign Students go Missing
Can see a headline in the Obbo.
Police raid kebab shops, Chinese + Indian takeaways Exprees Cards and the local red light distict on the reports of a sudden influx of young workers with a above average intelligence level. There were reports of this influx after the start of the new college year raising the suspicions of locals who couldnt get a job because of them. After consulting the home office and awaiting the result of a large number of commitees reviews and recomendations the police were given permission to act. Many of the "vanished" were rounded up but due to the amount of time it took they were in their early 20's and here legitimately. The home office said they had to be sure that all the infomation was correct before proceding so as not to offend anybody. Most were released back to their jobs much to the relief of the local take away retailers who had to shut due to lack of staff. Express Cards expressed concern that the prodution for Christmas was impacted but with a little help could be back on track. Of those arrested only 2 were detained one for being a political actavist in the local council and one from Scotland who was deported for causing too much chaos in the town. Stop the employers from giving these people jobs, (employing very cheap labour), and sorry to say it, but the place to start is the mass of foodshops/restaurants, etc, and anywhere else where all, or most of the takings are cash, taxi firms are still at it even though the licensing laws were all tightened up, trouble is, nobody polices the taxis, I dont use many cabs, but have seen a few who have only one plate, no visible badge, and dont use thier meters.

Re: Foreign Students go Missing
so the new way to get a terrorist into the uk is to set up a so called college above a kebab shop and enrol whoever you like so that hey can disappear into obscurity never to be seen again
how about only allowing propper authentic colleges in teh first place instead of these mini so called colleges which are basicly just a front to import cheap labour |
Re: Foreign Students go Missing
I am enrolling students from the EU on a Medieval Greek and Pornography course here in Morecambe. There are places for 27 students and it will take place in my garage. Fees are payable in advance and are £3000 for people under 5' 3" and £3500 for people over 5' 3". Once the fees are paid, I don't give a monkey's chuff if they turn up as the fewer there are would increase the comfort level. The reason for the price differential is that I can get more small people in my 12' x 7' garage, than tall people. They will have to find their own accomodation although I am in talks with the local parks authority who have a pavillion which is only used during the day.
Please note that there will be an additional charge for kebabs and burgers. Anyone wishing to donate blankets, pillows, teddy bears and old Greek Books should contact me directly at my villa in the South of France. |
