The origins of man

There will be documentary on TV soon with revelations into the origins of man.
This is the trailer
http://www.youtube.com/swf/l.swf?swf...2C%202009%20II

It appears to be detailed in this press report
Is David Attenborough set to reveal the Missing Link in human evolution? | Mail Online

However it may be just more lies. I prefer to believe this press report
The Canadian National Newspaper: Scientists find Extraterrestrial genes in Human DNA

PS expect more rewrites of 'history' soon:rolleyes:

Didn't we all come from Adam and Eve then ?

I've heard a rumour that the Missing Link is alive and well and numerous specimens are be found in Oswaldtwistle.

To expand your knowledge of this subject you may care to watch this series of videos
in advance of the programme.
If nothing else it may amuse you on a wet afternoon

Oh dear,
Maggie, you seem to be losing it big style, the world will end at the right moment, we just don't need you telling us how or when.

I am interested in the beginning , not the end:rolleyes:
I have always had an interest in ancient history.
I have numerous textbooks on the subject which I will soon be dumping cheap on ebay, because they are distortions of the truth.

I use large font because you obviously misread my post

Who knows whats true, we are told what to believe.

I mean the world was once flat.

I was watching a program on the pyramids and there are a few unanswered question there to do with aliens, advanced civilisations ect.
So many things we have no actual knowledge on.

God didn't make the little green apples, and it don't rain in Indianapolis in the summer time.
And there's no such thing as Dr. Seuss or Disney Land and Mother Goose, no nursery rhymes.

Says it all for me,No yesterday,no tomorrow only now.:theband:

Re: The origins of man

The 'spectacular news release' that was supposed to happen today, and will be the topic of the TV documentary, is just about the fossil and is not about DNA, so for that I am not going to the trouble of reconnecting my tv to its ariel, nor plugging it in.
Primate Fossil Could Be Key Link in Evolution - ABC News
I might watch it on BBCi if I get bored watching grass grow:rolleyes:

The best place to spot the missing link is outside some public houses at throwing out time on a Friday night

If is is a big a "scoop" as they claim then my theory about the big dude and his childhood chemistry set. Allways thought that the big bang was the result of one of the big dudes experiments going wrong!!!!

Just seen it on the news and well it is going to cause a lot of heated debate and that is among scientists. Cant wait for the religous fall out from it.

You mean the religious zealots will be countering with "The Lord made the world in six days and on the seventh he rested" seems he's been resting ever since, looking at the state of the world these days, but I blame Adam and Eve and that bloody apple myself:D

Sorry but, I lost all interest in your arguments Margaret, when I looked at The Canadian National Newspaper, strange thing that, they have lots regarding the 9/11 attacks. The normal stuff, inside job, no planes ever hit the towers, bombs etc....
Now if you want to read something more stimulating, try Private Eye:)

Re: The origins of man

it's all here

In the year 2525
If man is still alive
If woman can survive
They may find

In the year 3535
Ain't gonna need to tell the truth, tell no lies
Everything you think, do, or say
Is in the pill you took today

In the year 4545
Ain't gonna need your teeth, won't need your eyes
You won't find a thing to do
Nobody's gonna look at you

In the year 5555
Your arms are hanging limp at your sides
Your legs not nothing to do
Some machine is doing that for you

In the year 6565
Ain't gonna need no husband, won't need no wife
You'll pick your son, pick your daughter too
From the bottom of a long black tube

In the year 7510
If God's a-comin' he ought to make it by then
Maybe he'll look around himself and say
Guess it's time for the Judgement day

In the year 8510
God's gonna shake his mighty head
He'll either say I'm pleased where man has been
Or tear it down and start again

In the year 9595
I'm kinda wondering if man's gonna be alive
He's taken everything this old earth can give
And he ain't put back nothing

Now it's been 10,000 years
Man has cried a billion tears
For what he never knew
Now man's reign is through
But through the eternal night
The twinkling of starlight
So very far away
Maybe it's only yesterday
