Bad Smash on Union Road

Just heard there's been a very bad smash outside he old Post Office near the Civic Theatre on Union Road Ossy, between a car and a motor bike, which demolished the post box and the car, the person that told me says there could have been very serious injury

A postbox takes some demolishing, sounds like excessive speeding, I hope there are no serious injuries.

the child has just come home from school and shown me these

the guy in the high vis pants is the motorbike rider, you can just see the motorbike under the front wheels of the car in the second pic

Thank god it was only a postbox the car was in collision with and not a pedestrian. I wonder how the driver has managed to mount the kerb?

Its good to see the biker on his feet.

Reece got there at 8am (he'd just got off the bus to go to school) so it must have happened just before 8

ooops, if thats the fiesta i think it is then it is driven by a young guy who drives like an utter plank, he crashed into two parked cars on trinity street about 3/4 months ago

There is not a lot under the post box, it would only need a little nudge. That post box looks like it is cast iron so there is a lot of weight above the ground and a small lump of concrete inder ground.
