Dog Found - Fern Gore
Does anybody know of anyone missing a staffy in the fern gore area??
|
Re: Dog Found - Fern Gore
Kill it , they are vermin
|
Re: Dog Found - Fern Gore
Excuse me steeljack...........there is nothing wrong with staffies, it's the owners that make the dog.........so I think you need to think again
I had a staffie and let me tell you he was the best dog that I ever had, why do people like you have to tar all staffies with the same brush. |
Re: Dog Found - Fern Gore
Its a lovely friendly dog, quite soft and quite obidient. Just need to find out where it belongs, otherwise I might have to ring the warden, would rather re-unite it with it owner before going down that route though.

Re: Dog Found - Fern Gore
Hope you find the owner emzy........if I didn't have mac I would take it off your hands.......unlike some people I love ALL dogs.:(
|
Re: Dog Found - Fern Gore
So put it in a play pen with the two kids in your avatar and see how many come out alive
|
Re: Dog Found - Fern Gore
Got a problem with your eyes as well......If you look again at my avatar you'll see that there are no kids on it.
|
Re: Dog Found - Fern Gore
wasn't looking or refering to your avatar , it was intended for the original poster

Re: Dog Found - Fern Gore
My mistake.......I just thought that as I was the one who took exception to your comment it was aimed at me, as emzy has said nothing I think your being a bit nasty to her.........but hey thats just my opinion.
|
Re: Dog Found - Fern Gore
If it is a mostly white one Emzy, it may be the lass opposite me, if it is, you are right, its a real nice, friendly dog, agree with Lynx about staffies, they are really friendly animals unless the owners make them bad. (Although they are partial to cats)
|
Re: Dog Found - Fern Gore
You seem to have double standards steeljack....if I remember rightly your the one talking about killing a dog for no good reason.....
|
Re: Dog Found - Fern Gore
My staffie loved cats derek........he was brought up with one, and wouldn't have harmed one.
|
Re: Dog Found - Fern Gore
Its not that one derek, but at least thats one ruled out lol. I think it would be fine with the kids to be honest. Yes it does like cats  but was fine otherwise, was even ok with my hyper dog.
Will say it again, it is a lovely, friendly dog. Say what you want about dogs but find myself that how they are raised plays a big part in their behaviour and this ones fine and very well behaved. I wouldnt even risk letting it near mine if I had any doubts at all about it But back on topic, If anyone knows of someone missing a Staff in the Fern Gore area please get in contact asap, ta x |

Re: Dog Found - Fern Gore
I think I am right in saying that Staffordshire Bull Terriers are a pure breed, and a long way from the 'pit bulls' you are referring to, I have never encountered a nasty staffie!
Same with Rotties, I bought two, and let someone else have one of them, mine was as gentle as a lamb, the other turned out a bit nasty, because they were raised differently. Mine was a pet, the other was used as a status symbol! I will keep my ears open Emzy, let you know if I here anything! |
Re: Dog Found - Fern Gore
Same old story tar all staffies by the same brush:rolleyes:
most make fabulous pets if in the right hands, but that goes for any breed of dog all dogs have a certain amount of instinct in them treat it rough as a puppy no socialising apart from training it to fight putting it on a treadmill three rimes a day and hey you turn out a mean fighting killing machine with a muppet as a owner. still say if you breed a dog and sell a puppy to a idiot what chance has that puppy got in life, Most reputable breeders wouldnt sell one of their pups to a idiot, but get a idiot owning one breed from it a couple of times and hey they sell onto their muppet friends woohoo we all own a hard dog Hope the owners can be found and the dog is safley reunited |

Re: Dog Found - Fern Gore
You can post a description and photo of the dog you found on Hyndburn Stray Dogs In Need
There is a new section where you can post about a dog that you have found, or one that is lost. Hope that helps. |
