We'll all have our own opinions of him, some good some bad. His private life would certainly contain the bad and his musical life for those who like it the good.

At the end of the day he was a very very mixed up man who had suffered an horrendous childhood.

Well as someone once said, to die with a million in the bank is pretty clever, but to die oweing a millon, now thats genius.

He was a good musician, but once he got rid of Quincey Jones's involvement, (Off the Wall, Thirller, Bad) He went down hill.

Why should I mourn him, I did no know him personally and his recent music contributions are not all that great.

And why if we are discussing MJ are we not disscussing Farah Fawcett?

And what if it comes out that he was actually innocent of the various charges brought against him? Not saying he was or wasn't innocent but it always seemed strange to me that any parent who thought their child had been molested would accept compensation money, if it had been one of my children no amount of money would have bought me off.
His death is very sad for his family & friends but no more so than for other families going through the same thing and I think the media needs to get a little perspective on it.

I have to agree about the compensation, if it had been my child I wouldn't like to think what i would have done.... But as the saying goes "no smoke without fire"
He may have been innocent :rolleyes:and was indeed found to be innocent in a court of law...
All I'm saying is that when someone dies, the info that they have had buried for whatever reason, makes it's way into the hands of the media.....and then the "truth" comes out!

There are far more important things happening in the world today than the death of Michael Jackson, SKY news has devoted all it's air time this morning to his death, while it is very sad for his family, friends and fans you are right perspective is needed.........

The thing is accyman he was taken to court on one occasion only and completely exonerated, as for the other so called insdent with the Chandler kid, I totally agree what kind of parents would take money from anybody knowing their child had been molested, to me those would be the sickos never mind anybody else

the thing is jaysay he is no different than gary glitter apart from he had a lot more money and a lot more popularity which made the thought of jackson been a filthy child molester less appealing and also led to his career been allowed to go further so that those that bought his records and concert tickets could continue contributing to children been abused

the way that family saw it was probably a case of either walking away from court with a conviction which wasnt guarenteed against jackson or walking away with 50million dollars upwards not to testify .Either way they went the child would have to live with been molested so why not live with it with 50 million in the bank

any parent that let their kid near him after that shoud have been posecuted for endangering a child and gross neglegence

now hes dead they should check his own children for evidence of abuse

he admited guilt the second he paid for teh silence of a witness , no one would pay 50 million upwards to silence evidence that could not be proven so it must have been pretty damaging evidence to warrant such a huge payout

As far as Chandler goes, if M J had nothing to hide why did he pay him off? Coz he liked him?

The film he made "Moonwalker" has the theme of him being the hero who saves the little kids from the bad guys a milder version of the film script one might say?

If you seen Michael Jackson perform live at the peak of his career it was the best.

Anyone with basic deduction skills will have realised that M J's so called kids have caucasian features and no aparant African features - so it seems obvious they arn't his blood kids?

I don't think you can say he was evil - he somehow got stuck in childhood himself and thought he was peter pan and wanted to look like him and didn't want to be an adult and wanted to be a kid.

As the bible says - "Unless yeah become like little children, yeah shall not enter the kingdom of heaven!"

Matthew 18:3 And he said: "I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

So what does this mean?
