I don't see what would be funny about it even if we had worked at asda...

flashy 27-06-2009 17:37

Re: Asdas Roof Collapses!!!

exactly Blazey....ozzypostie, would it be funny if the roof had collapsed on an elderly person or a small child?

i havent got an 'attitude' when it comes to safety mate, just common sense

To be fair, it wouldn't have been funny if it had fallen on anybody. He is just an idiot.

hmmm apparently so

lancsdave 27-06-2009 17:46

Re: Asdas Roof Collapses!!!

Took them ages to think of actually stopping people entering the car park. We went straight from work and had to join the queue to get off the car park as soon as we got on it.

ozzypostie 27-06-2009 18:01

Re: Asdas Roof Collapses!!!

Do you know some people on here are so stuck up and so bloody clicky.

People like you two are why this country is going to rubbish,
PC brigade i am sick of you! cant say anything anymore without someone chirping up.

Common sence maybe but lack of humour definitely ,

I didn't say it was funny because someone might of got hurt i was saying it was funny because Asda has closed and my sister might get the day off tomorrow, also imagining the managers meeting when this happened!

So you two have interpreted that statement with negativity and looking at several posts you have made in the forums especially blazey it seems to me that you really should get a grip and being so serious. (loads of bad karma points to you if i could remember how to do it lol)

As a girl of 20 who lives at home with her parents probably never worked an honest day in her life, with no life experiance what so ever. Who gets her kicks on here by being just a pain in the arse.

Im sorry were do you get sicko from? Are you unwell?

I never once mentioned anyone being under the roof that was you! now your saying it would be funny if i was under it, who is the sick one now.
I have a wife and child, and find it a disgrace to be called a sicko and an idiot over a statment that you misinterpreted.

Ive been a member of this site for a while and advertised it to people .Though while there are members like yourselves i wont be doing anymore

Must have been very scarey Bernie .. not like you can put a bucket under to catch the drips.

I was once in a building in Ossie when something similar happened destroying lots of textile stock. Must admit the only time in my life when I felt fear due to the elements.

Lol!
If there is any clique it's one of people who have minds of their own and post what they think when they want. Just because a few people disagree with a certain person doesn't make it a witch hunt.. Just he didn't seem to like it when the "humour" was turned on him.

By the way, cheers aleks...gawd, never thought I'd say that! :D

Me too, but it seems to have ruffled far too many feathers, I think it was meant in good humour. Maybe the oppressive weather is to blame for that too, either way you can see why new members don't feel welcome!

Now everyone knows I wouldn't agree with Flashy, but it really just isn't funny.

I could understand if it really was funny, but it just isn't funny if someone could have got hurt.

Re: Asdas Roof Collapses!!!

At least it is only one section at the moment. Thing is though they will need the experts in to assess whether the whole roof and building can be deemed fit for purpose. Asda wont be able to just patch it up as it is used by the public. The good thing is that no one was hurt and that no one was hurt in what must have been chaos in the evacuation and the carpark.

I remember when they started to build it and the steel skeleton was erected. Me and a mate climbed up it and the whole thing did a Millenium Bridge impression.
