I wasn't going to say anything but I'm sure Jim Reeves was on the Flea Market the other day going through a box of LPs

Re: Conspiracy Theory

The Conspiracy is to create a Conspiracy and then create a TV program debunking that Conspiracy that causes Confusion leading to brain atrophy and addiction to computer gaming and TV reality shows. Therefore Simon Cowell is the one behind the conspiracy! :mosher:

Re: Conspiracy Theory

Hi Margeret, I was partly joking and made that conspiracy up my self. Based on the fact that TV is largely a fantasy world - soaps etc that provide people with escapism.

I have been through being addicted to all the soaps, Corrie, Emmerdale, Eastenders! It's all the same crap going round, repeating! People don't really need it!

:egged:

People gotta break out of their egg!

:)

Cheers,

Kestrel X.

Re: Conspiracy Theory

Accyman is correct in a way.
What you 'see' is your mind's interptretation of atoms vibrating at a particular rate, which you interpret as solid matter.
There are other atoms which vibrate at a higher rate which are there but we can't see them and are described as 'dark matter'.

i have been reading some seriously heavy stuff lately

Re: Conspiracy Theory

Yep it's all happening in the brain - what you see is light energy triggering the brain cells and so on...
YouTube - THE SECRET BEYOND MATTER PART1:egged:

So in a sense TV does control what people think! Oh yeh!

Re: Conspiracy Theory

I watched the Woodstock documentary film again this weekend.

I had to laugh at all the wet stoned hippies, who were blaming the government for sending planes to 'seed' the clouds, after it had rained.

Nothing to do with that part of the eastern United States having quite a high rainfall pattern, even in summer, hence all the lush farmland.

Those cats are far out.

Perhaps people who took a trip to Woodstock in '69 were the first people to experience acid rain.

:p

Just a theory.

:D
