Another sad remark as to what views people have of our police force.

Hope you watched the programme tonight on police dogs 'Send in the Dogs'. Was proud of the fact of how much these dogs are cared for and well loved, and how the dogs themselves enjoy the work they are put to. After all, as commented, the dogs don't understand it is work, regard it as fun.

This was just one instance of a police dog handler making a very bad and neglectful mistake and looks like, quite rightly, he will be brought to task for it.

I have just watched "Send In The Dogs" and as you say Kate these dogs are well cared for and loved, all the more reason why this tragedy should never have happened IMO. The dogs should never have been left so whoever left them should face the consequences.
