Thanks already done that, it was working Ok at 1800, switched every thing off and went out to garden, when I came back in thats when it did'nt work, checked all the settings on the sky box cables the lot, every thing else is Ok just no sound, if it was the down lead it would affect picture as well.

Re: Sky TV

Have you tried turning the sound up on your telly? ;)

Mine is working fine. I can't see it being a Sky issue which just affects you. Have you accidently muted your box?

Tried all those settings, all was OK, unplugged the dammed thing gave it a good coat of looking at, shook it a couple of times, plugged every thing back together, just in time to catch an advert that sky are upgrading and all paying customers will be getting a new card.

I find that scarts can lose sound before they lose picture if slightly loose.

All working fine here BTW.

Ha bluudy Ha.
A bit late wi yur advice, its 8 days since.
I swore at the wife and kicked the dog.
Maybe that cured it or just unplugging things
helped as Ian said about scart plugs.
