Yet another house fire
 
Saw the fire brigade lobbing debris out of a house on Washington Street at about 7:30 this morning, hope no-one was injured. We seem to be getting a lot of house fires lately, wonder if it's people leaving windows open for extra ventilation and forgetting about candles, joss sticks and such? I am always very cautious having had experience of how nasty these fires can be but it's so easy to forget about a candle.

Wouldn't have a candle in the house Linds, they are to bloody dangerous especially if as you say the windows are open and you forget about them, I always shake my head when you see people on TV taking a bath with candles all over the place, crackers to me

expect more fires as teh recession goes on , its a good excuse for an insurance claim
