Out Now - The Hydburn Independent

After much hard work, The Hyndburn Independent is launched tomorrow (Thursday) but it will be in all good stores, petrol stations, pubs, community centres and libraries later today.

Please look out for it and pick up a copy - and remember is FREE!

If you do have any problems finding it let me know and I will tell you where the nearest distribution point is.There are far too many to post on here.

The Hyndburn Independent is your new and local community newspaper.

I hope you enjoy!

Regards

Paul Vaughan, Editor

We aim to be different and I am glad you like the paper. What we need now is for the community of Hyndburn to get behind us and make this project a success. To repeat myself, we need your news, even the little things that other papers reject, but most of all we need to look at Hyndburn in a positive light.

Read a copy this morning while in Annie's cafe, it was quite good for the first edition. I hope this takes off for you.

My granddaughter has just asked in the library for this and they didn't know what she was talking about. Have they not been delivered to the library yet?

Has it come into the Co-op at Clayton Accylass ? Or are you not classed as a 'good store' ... LOL.

Is it monthly Mr. Vaughan ?

Wow! Thanks everyone for rushing out and picking up your free copies of the paper. some outlets have already run out but I know for certain that Accrington Library and Accy Town Hall still have copies available.
We have had a good response so far to the Accrington Stanley competition but I would like more feedback from you on the contents of the paper. Tell me here or in a message what you like and what you do not like, then we can respond.
Also does have anything they think may make an interesting article, particularly a history item.

Thanks
Paul

At the moment we are printing 10,000 copies and we will increase this to 12,000 in the next few months. In fact if they all go as quick as the copies in the Co - op at Gt Harwood we will be doing larger numbers even quicker!
