You Couldn't Make It Up!!!
Weird or what? This morning my grandson lost fifty pounds in JJB Sports. He was with his Mum and had choosen some trainers to buy but on reaching the cash desk realised he had dropped his money out of his pocket. They went back to look for it but it had gone(hope whoever picked it up is proud of theirself). Anyway later on they were in Barclays Bank when what should be sitting on the side but fifty pounds that somebody had left there. This was handed in but could you credit loosing and finding the exact same amount of money in one morning?

I'm sorry to hear that your granson lost that money......maybe whoever lost the £50 that he found, will treat him. Ok it won't buy him the trainers but at least he knows he did the right thing.
Well done young man. |
Re: You Couldn't Make It Up!!!
Just a slight wander, There was a woman lost a winning £30,000 lottery ticket, some one found it and cashed it, she was subsequently charged with theft, there is a court case today to see if the original owner of the ticket can claim the money that this other woman hasn't spent:rolleyes:

Re: You Couldn't Make It Up!!!
Fifty quid for a pair of pumps? That's madness. Ten quid would be my limit and even then that's too much given the fact your typical chinaman can knock out 50 pairs of the things in a single day, all for a bowl of rice and two bob in his pocket
