Booze Asbos

Do you think the new Booze Asbos are just a gimmick or will they help to cut down on binge drinking, I for one think they will be just as useless as the ordinary Asbos have been

these new booze asbos are useless, waste of time n money, how can anyone seriously be monitered from going into off-licences, supermarkets, or any place that sells booze? pubs are easy enough to enter away from yer normal places, this is just a thoughtless gimmick. costing the tax payer money no doubt.:(

The whereabouts of anyone at any time are easily and cheaply monitored by use of a microchip implanted under the skin - the size of a grain of rice.

Your welcome, what it boils down to really is giving the police another job of policing that they haven't the time to do if that makes sense:) Most of these asbo's should really be time served whether it be in young offenders or jail:(

Total gimmick.

Another piece of high profile profile spin, with no thought as to how it will be policed, or indeed make the slightest bit of difference to society.

I'm begining to despair of politicans, who seem to think the public will be fooled by a few ill thought out initiatives, which are all show and no substance.

The only real problem with stunts like this Rindi, is they cost money to put into operation, and money ain't one of those commodities we are overflowing with at the moment
