Lottery Prediction
Did you see that guy claiming he'd predicted the lottery numbers on TV last week? His programme in which he promised to show how he did it was an insult to the intelligence. In these days of the Masked Magician revealing how magic tricks are really done, we were entitled to something better.
There is a possible explanation on you tube:- YouTube - derren brown's lottery trick - possible solution What do you think? |
Re: Lottery Prediction
i love derren brown's 'mind' shows...they are all great. But its impossible to predict the numbers....just a trick

one moron suggested that he recorded all the posible outcomes of teh lottery and just slipped in teh recording that came true lol also thats not even close to a possible solution unless the live audience was in on it as well derren brown is a clever guy and although not particularly a huge fan of his one off stunts like live russian roullett and this lottery scam his live shows are very good |

Re: Lottery Prediction
i think he's pretty awesome
esp the mind tricks and how he can feed subliminal messages quite easily into his routine. i loved the shows where he did the trick or treat ones where he would subconciously help someone that had no idea they were being helped so to speak. |
Re: Lottery Prediction
I have watched a few of his youtube videos and am not impressed.
The charade where he subjected an arcade video game player to fear, without his consent to participate, was a reflection on how this man manipulates people for his own purpose and material gain - not my idea of a man worthy of any respect |

Re: Lottery Prediction
As an experiment, last night we tried Derren Brown's supposed approach to the lottery. There were 10 of us, so we all picked some numbers and then averaged them out to pick one line.
Unfortunately, we were too late to put them on the draw last night, so it could have been a bit awkward if the experiment had worked!!!! Anyway, guess how many numbers we got right? Yep, that's right - NONE - not one number right. Glad I didn't waste a £1 on that. |
Re: Lottery Prediction
LOL there is still the odds of that trick working for you... remember the odds of winning the lottery are 1 in 14 million
