The noise early monday morning

Hi, can anyone help me out, does anyone know what the noise was in the early hours of Monday morning??? I live near Moscow Mill St, but a friend heard it in Sandy Lane.

It was like an air raid siren. It woke me up at 3am :eek: went on for 5mins then slowly stopped, only to start AGAIN :mad: 10mins or so later.

It then went on for another 10mins then stopped.

Can anyone give me an idea of what it was please ???????
