Calling all men who wish to tread the boards in a Andrew Lloyd Webber and David Ian's professional production of The Sound of Music at the Palace Theatre, Manchester.
THE SOUND OF MUSIC An opportunity to be part of Andrew Lloyd Webber and David Ian's Palladium Production of The Sound of Music At the Manchester Palace Theatre Ideal candidates should be over 18 and not bigger than a 46' chest. They will have a meet and greet and talk through on Monday 14th December at 7 p.m. and then the volunteers will be able to watch our dress rehearsal on the 15th @ 2.30 p.m. You do not need to be able to do all shows as we have a rota. All they ask you to provide is black trousers and blacks boots or shoes.. They will even provide a couple of tickets for you or your friends to see what will be a sell out run. Surely there were female camp guards? In fact, in the books I have read on the camps, the women guards were worse than the men. This looks like a very sexist production to me.
