Re: Oak House Dentist

After having all her teeth out at Blackpool Victoria Hospital because she wanted a full sedation she was referred to Oak House for later check ups. they were great with her and she felt comfortable going back for further check ups.
My wife was going to pay a private dentist £900.00 for a set of dentures but Oak House told her they used the same service and the bill would be £195.00 minus the original £19 she had already paid for the check ups.
She went along with the suggestion and regrets it now. After 10 visits she still hasn't been able to wear her teeth and is going back next week for further fitting.
I have told her that if she doesn't get them right this time we shall ask for a refund and go to the private dentist. her friend used the private chap and is totally satisfied with her teeth after three visits.
We are fortunate to be financially secure in our old age but maybe if we were not my wife would have to suffer, which means I would suffer more.

I guess she will be getting a bargain then.
I have told her to go private and forget the refund which I doubt she will get from the NHS.

You could always ask to be referred to another Dentist at Oak House and see how she gets on before going private. As i say i'd recommend David Heeley there! I asked to be transferred to him after an unsatisfactory experience with a previous Dentist!
