Excuse for a mother

Blackburn mum, 22, left four children home alone for 24-hour binge (From Lancashire Telegraph)
Do these judges live in the real world, I bet there are one or two of our mothers on here will have a few choice words for this excuse for a mother

agreed totally irresponsible - I take it Social Services and or NSPCC will now take appropriate action and place these children in a safe environment

Only a suspended sentence? Are they having a laugh?

Apparently that was because it was a one off (as far as anyone knows).

Selfish cow, sorry you shouldn't have four children if you can't cope with them. It is miraculous that none of these children were hurt whilst this excuse for a mother was out enjoying herself. No excuse for not asking for help if you are finding it difficult to cope, there are plenty of people out there who would have helped

I don't care if it is a one off, she should be locked up.

Must agree Bernie, but when you take into account she's 22 years of age has 4 kids with 3 different fathers, well I'm no moral judge, but does she give a damn, I have trouble finding mitigating circumstances, so she's hardly going to take the trouble to ask for help really is she

I agree.
It was only a one off over in Portugal, (so far as we know), look how that ended up?

There is never an excuse to leave children unattended.

this part also is what annoys me

Quote:

Her children, aged four, three, one and three months, had been left home to fend for themselves all night until 10am when the father of the oldest girl raised the alarm.
i may have missed some part in teh story but what exactly has to happen before a father is given custordy of a child, it mentions that this slag is after moving away to start over when she gets the children back so not only does teh father of teh eldest child not have custordy of his daughter but the slag could potentialy move miles away making his visitation very difficult and also distancng the child from teh only parent who has the childs well being at heart

i have no idea of the fathers circumstances or his intentions but he seems to have fought in court to see his daughter as he has visitation rights and was using them.

if the eldest child is in care i hope hes still getting his visiting time

I'm starting to see the silver lining in this story.. this woman has been sussed and action has been taken..at least the social services have done thier job unlike some cases when they have messed up and kids have died.

As far as im concerned she shouldnt ever get them children back. If you can leave your children the eldest only being 4 who had been living with her parents and had only come back at 5pm that day the youngest being 3 months .. do you really care about them? The children are now living with their grandparents .. i wonder if shes going to have contact with them seeing as they are living with her parents ..

quite true but it will be idiots like CAFCAS that will push for her to have the kids back

luckily these kids have a judge thats looking out for them and wont be fooled by these CAFCASS idiots soft touch approach

had dealings myself with CAFCASS and teh reports they write read like they were made up from somone esles case alltogether, teh best you can do is hope for a judge with tehir wits about them and a big dollop of common sense which luckily these kids seem t have got because teh judge allowed the mother to be named and shamed

come on folks give the lass a break , she was only having a time-out ....probably following the example set by the super chav slag Jordan , instead of leaving her kids for a few weeks in Australia or where-ever, she only left hers for 24 hours for a tour of Blackburns barbary coast .
