Down she comes....and my memories with it.

Just spotted Margaret Pilkingtons piccys on Flikr showing the demolition of Woodnook Mill.I used to live in Marsden st and play in the smoothing iron opposite the mill.So sad to see my memories torn down...ah well..some will call it progress....:mad:

Glad that the pics on Flikr are keeping you in touch.
I find it sad too. It was where I grew up and played too, so it is rich im memories for me.

I am hoping to see the chimney come down tomorrow...weather permitting, so hopefully will pos tpics of that too.
