Christmas lights in Rishton/this area

I read this on a website (About Xmas light) and asked if a pic of that could be on here? Is there or could one be placed in here for the ones who cannot get about much.

There is a cul-de-sac in Rishton (not far from me) that does this every year.

I have removed the place and the posters name

I lived in Rishton for 26 years, I have the requisite number of toes and speak and write grammatical English. If some of you go two miles out of your comfort zones you get positively xenophobic! :)

Words are used to form pictures in brains.

Rather than say that 'some people need pictures too',
perhaps it is better to humbly admit that your use of words is inadequate

Have to agree , some are way over the top , ridiculous , more money than sense , it also gets my goat that they call Father Christmas , Santa Claus .....just another plot by the 'international money folks' to take Baby Jesus (Christ) out of Christmas

I agree :D just pointing out that Santa Claus is /was St. Nicholas and those who insist on using this name should be celebrating him on December 6th the day he visits homes in Holland ,Belgium, Germany and Denmark, accompied by his helper Zwarte Peit ( Black Peter) the guy who carries the sack to take naughty children away in . ;)

if you actually believe all this son of god stuff then you will know that teh 25th of december has absolutly nothing to do with jesus as he was born in march, the only reason why 25th december is used is because teh church merged the celebration of his birth with a pagan holiday which i forget the name of right now :)

the only reason why santa clause is red is because of coca cola he was origionaly drawn wearing green

personaly i dont care about any facts or origins of xmas as long as i get the prezzis :D

christmas is for 2 things , spoling teh kids and providing grown men with an excuse to go nuts with flashy decorations lol

There is a crescent section of Bridge Street in Rishton that all trim up outside each year and it's an amazing sight. That has been in the papers for several years at Christmas although some people may have moved on as one or two houses didn't bother this time.
