people who dont even like rage against teh machine have gone and bought their record to uspet cowells belief and boosted them to an xmas number 1 leaving cowells puppet in the number 2 slot roflmao

contrats to those fed up with this tripe been shoved on us each year :D

rage against the machine have donated all the money made by their record to charity so its a win win, cowlls muck is kept off number one and a charity get a big amount of money

You're right accyman, it got number 1. I bought a copy (or two) as well. The band themselves say they'll donate a 'big chunk' to charity and people who bought the single have additionally raised around £60,000 donating. Both sums will go do Shelter I believe.

personaly not a fan of rage against the machine but i like teh whole concept of sticking it to cowell, hope next year teh same thing is done.

you should have read/heard the crap cowell was claiming in the build up to this weeks chart accusing teh public of bullying his puppet claiming his puppet has worked damn hard and deserves number 1.Working hard is statring a band , touring teh country doing crappy venues, clubs and festivals and supporting other acts to get a foothold.Working hard is not been spoon fed somone elses songs for 12 weeks and voted on by mindless goons as to wether you shoudl last another week and in essence merely doing kraoke :rolleyes:

maybe now cowell may have got teh message that his poxy show dosnt entitle him to a christmas number one no matter how cleverly he times his shows end to make it so

Well said accyman, I totally agree.

He deserves to be brought back down to Earth due to the way he conducted himself with "Jedward". He showed that the show isn't about talent but a cynical attempt to boost ratings and column inches... And of course his bank balance.
