A Brand New Diary
 
The best thing about New Year's Day is opening a new diary. Even though I'm now retired I can't resist having a diary on my desk.

Any one else do it or am I sad?

As a student I have an academic diary, but admittedly I can't resist buying a new diary in the new year most years. I'm not sure if I will this year because I have a university one and they aren't cheap, but I am!

i normally have a dairy, but apart from transfering tel numbers, never open it until i need to, so on that basis june yer sad.;):rofl38::rofl38: Happy New Year.

I normally buy a diary ... then lose it normally round about march ... and find it again in october/november!!!

This year for once ... i havent bought one .................... yet!!! lol

After years of keeping everything in my head I do use a diary now, mainly for setting dates for the Shakers Society.

I was just about to buy one for 2010, when someone said they had a spare one they'd give me.

I now have a white kid leather diary covered in red rhinestones, which I think I'll have to rub with black boot polish before I can bring it out in public.

Why would you do that Gary, it sounds in perfect keeping with your flamboyant character :D
