hyndburn homes repairs: snowday

hyndburn homes repairs team have been sent home apparantly: a snow day, emergency or no emergncy....thats nice 4 them eh, home all nice and warm while we who have been waiting all morning with no call to say they are not coming out or will come out, with no boiler working (2nd day) and a glorified hairdryer to keep us warm, nice

Council offices were closed as I came past at 4pm. M&S and Natwest have been closed.

I must admit I was suprised by Bernadette's post. I too thought most of the town was open when I had a look round. Quite a few market traders missing. Peel St had 3 shops closed from what I saw, Barbers, smaller of the 2 mobile shops and the fashion shop.

Possibly more shops shut early, I cleared off at 4pm because I had to walk home so had to make my hour up :D
