Re: There is some good News
Just heard it too.
Good. Interesting to see how much he'll make in the real world, of independent production companies. I wonder who'll be the next 'celebrity' the B.B.C. will waste millions on, in a golden hadcuffs contract? |
Re: There is some good News
The highs and lows of Jonathan Ross
June 2006 Ross signed a new, £18million contract tying him to the BBC until 2010, making him Britain’s highest-paid presenter. In the same month, he was criticised for a controversial interview on his Saturday Night show. He fired a line of questioning at David Cameron, that culminated in him asking: “Did you or did you not have a w*** thinking of Margaret Thatcher?” Repeat showings of the interview were banned. The highs and lows of Jonathan Ross - Times Online That was funny. Though not six million quid a year funny. |
Re: There is some good News
the only thing thats not good about this news,is the failure of the BBC to sack him a while ago.

Re: There is some good News
apparently hes signed a minimum wage contract working in a retirement home entertaining the elderly :)

Re: There is some good News
and of course we all believe that he isn't quitting the BBC over money.......don't we???
Like Cashy, I think that this arrogant, ignorant man should have been sacked. |
Re: There is some good News
Americans like him (me I cannot stand him)
|
Re: There is some good News
Well, they can have him.......I find him as funny as toothache.
And as for his interviewing technique of littering his questions with sexual inuendo(and blatant questions about sexual practices of the person being interviewed).....well, that is very juvenile and unfunny. OK, maybe it is a generational thing......but I find him crass. |
Re: There is some good News
I could be a celebrity to replace Wossy and do so at half his price! I have all the right credentials. - I can be very rude, I can still act like a troubled teenager, I could stop worrying about what people might think, I can read Halliwell's as well as the next man and I have an inflated sense of my own importance. Come on BBC. I'm waiting.

Re: There is some good News
His Partner in slime seems to have managed since he was sacked, no doubt there are programme developers falling hand over fist to get him on board, why? Because the viewing population has no taste nor enough intelligence to know there is on OFF switch designed just for the purpose of when such dross appears.:(
