Great pictures, it is impossible for me to imagine what it must have been like to live through that.

My wife and my daughter went to see the WW1 battlefields last summer.The wifes Gradad was with the Hull Pals on the Somme in 1916. He was killed in Nov 1916.A very moving journey my daughter said.His name is on the Thieval Memorial but his body was never found.
