Here's a little quiz .... and it is on topic .... complete the line of poetry:

Much wine (or beer if you prefer) had passed, with brave discourse
Of who ..................................

Here's a hint: James Wilmot, Earl of Rochester.

Men look at women the way a woman looks at a box of chocolates.........always a new interesting one in the box that is just asking to be tasted.

I saw a little piece in the paper yesterday asking why men indulged in 'Text sex'(whatever that might be...sounds a bit bogus to me) and it said that men who indulge in this pursuit, get all the trouble without ever having dipped their bread in the gravy.......well, it made me smile.

Stupid Ashley Cole.....thinking he would'nt get sprung.
Stupid Cheryl Cole for not kicking him to the kerb the first time he was unfaithful.
In football terms I guess that is a draw then!

Aaaah Didums, Ashley Cole is trying to blame his wife for the split.......she allowed her mother to move in with them.......and this meant that Cheryl had little time for passion.
God forbid man, you lived in a nine bedroomed mansion.......not a two up two down terraced house.
Methinks it might be more likely that she sussed out that you couldn't keep your flies zipped, and didn't want to end up with some nasty disease.
Grow up and take repsonsibility for your actions.

Silly sod, he didn't realise how good he had things with her, she'll go on singing & entertaining for years to come, plus if she keeps her looks she'll be doing the beauty products for a fair while too (Like Andie McDowell), raking the ackers in.

What's he got maybe another 10 years Premiership Footie, possibly something in lower Divisions later if he's lucky a managerial position ? or Pundit on a Sports show, not a lot of options really. When he could've been a kept man with a pretty Wife, what a Muppet, all that for some owd Slapper who's had more men under her than a Navy Commodore ! :bangh8: :clown:

Think it would be interesting (from an historical point of view) to read/hear what the likes of Bryan Douglas and Ronnie Clayton think about the money aspects of modern day football .

Had a chat with both of them quite recently and they both said they earned more money when they left football than they ever did whilst playing:rolleyes:

Sealions have better ball control than footballers - let them eat fish.

Men usually look for someone else they can blame for their own failings.....even Adam blamed Eve.
Anyway she is well shot of the cheating scum.....she should have done that the first time he was caught....would have saved a lot of hassle.

apart from been a fairy tale if the story was actually true then i think anyone male or female can see that eve totaly screwed everything up for adam on that occasion :)

or are you uspest that he didnt have a kitchen sink to chain her to so she couldnt go off wandering talking to snakes and eating apples lol

Margaret Pilkington 27-02-2010 17:44

Re: She's kicked him into touch

It was allegorical........and Adam had a choice as to whether to eat the apple or not....so I guess it was his own fault then...a bit like Ashley Cole.
And as for the comment about the kitchen sink and talking snakes.......what are you on? I'll have a quarter of whatever it is:D(certainly isn't Sarsaparilla drops).

She's certainly no good at writing records, as her album shows.

The whole thing is a collaboration with Will.i.am and a shameless cash in on the nation's love affair with her. My wife bought me that and a poster of her in just her underwear for my study wall.

On balance, I certainly wouldn't kick Ms Cole out of bed for working on a lousy album but that comes with a proviso from my wife that she potentially gets the same deal with Brad Pitt...
