Not wanting to speak ill of the living, but Ronnie Biggs also seems to have avoided kicking the bucket so far, after being released early from his sentence last August, when he was supposed to be approaching death's door.

Whilst principle is the same, theres a world of differance in the crime Biggs commited, the train robbers did not set out to deliberately kill a cartload of people.

Maybe when these two miscreants got to 'Deaths Door'....death decided he didn't want them to sully his fine establishment, and turned them away.

He may have evaded justice, but the only one small crumb of comfort is that we're not funding his palatial suite in the clink anymore.

Shame we can't ship all the foreign nationals out of our overcrowded jails......there might then be room for the home grown crims.

That's the joke. We pay to imprison them, and if they're to be deported after their sentence, they disappear, never to be seen..or until the next time they commit a crime.

The worst example was the poor devils who were rescued, after the Morecambe Bay cockle pickers tragedy.

They were all sent to an unsecured hostel for illegal immigrants, and ran away berfore they were called as witnesses at the people trafficker's trial.
