BBC News - Farepak payout trebled to 15p per pound

Around 120,000 customers hit by the collapse of the Christmas hamper firm Farepak have been offered an estimated 15p for every pound they lost.

suppose thats better than the 5p they where offering 3 years ago, still a pathetic offer though

The sad part about this is that effects mostly people who can ill afford it

Just got home to a letter behind the door, opened it up and to my surprise there was a cheque for £71.31 from Farepaks liquidators...or whoever they are....it ended up that people are getting back 35p for every pound they lost, not a lot but it's better than a kick in the teeth

and yeah cashy, i wasn't really expecting owt, it's been going on for 5 years now and i thought they'd forgot we existed ;)
