If all the money wasted on these useless studies was used elsewhere, we would probably have no national deficit!!

Re: sleep ..
I spend a lot of time sleeping, and have found a connection with the peaks in the electromagnic emissions of the sun.
In case you aren't aware of the increase in the intensity of the sun's emissions, there are detailed here- PLANETOPHYSICAL STATE OF THE EARTH AND LIFE About 3 years ago I began to experience an overwhelming urge to sleep several times in a day, and the net result was sleep was taking up 50% of my life. I suspected narcolepsy and visited my doc. I had numerous medical tests and he could find nothing wrong with me, and suggested 'drink lots of coffee'. I am retired from work, so sleep at any time is possible. I self diagnosed myself with Chronic Fatigue syndrome and began a rigorous regime of vitamin and mineral supplements, detoxed with MMS, and began an organic diet and drink filtered water. These nutritional changes have given me more energy at the times I am awake, but the overwhelming urge to sleep still happens often. Since I became aware of the risk and effects of a coronal mass ejection, I have often looked at the space weather sites - 3-day GOES X-ray Flux Monitor SpaceWeather.com -- News and information about meteor showers, solar flares, auroras, and near-Earth asteroids I have noticed that my urge to sleep corresponds precicely with the increase in the x ray flux (electromagnetic) emissions of the sun. On the 7th and 8th May I spent 75% of my time sleeping and that corresponded with a period of intense radiation. The 9th of May was a spell of no activity and I stayed awake all day. Today I have had a one hour nap at midday, and lo and behold, there was a small peak shown on the graph. |
