Observer new website

I look at the obituaries every week (morbid aint I?:D)
Looked today and found the site has been revamped.
I struggled to find the obituaries, and to save anyone else the prospect of meandering into the Manchester Evening News as I did:rolleyes:
....look under 'Life and Style'

Funny that you should say that -
I was once mistaken for someone featured there.
It coincided with an unusual 7 day absence from my (then) regular bingo club.
When I next walked in several people stared and went white.
The manager said they were about to have a wreath collection.

A few years ago my Fathers next door neighbour went into his home and asked if it was true that I had died, me thinks the news of my death had been greatly exaggerated;)funny thing that I'm sure that happened to some one else too:rolleyes:

I think it was Mark Twain who wrote "reports of my death have been greatly exaggerated," Jaysay, after confusion over one of his cousins who had been seriously ill. Journalistic standards haven't changed!

I keep scouring the paper for the Observer's obituary.

The Accrington Observer & Times, a dearly departed, much loved old friend, sadly no longer with us. Much missed.
