Yes, if he'd have been able to read a map, and get there, to be more fully involved with the attempted coup, he'd be in prison now.

:D

I should have realised that's improbable, and I suppose physically impossible...whilst you're kissing arse.

Unlike some, the only backside I'd ever be tempted to kiss, would be my own.

In the past, this man said he would never accept a peerage..........that was, of course, when there wasn't one on offer. This man was always Old Labour, or Socialist if you prefer. Ermine will fit him like Cinderellas glass slipper.
Seems like another politician has sold his principles, his credibilty and his integrity(not that he had much of than anyway).
He has said that he has done it to make up for what he put his wife through when he was 'bothering' with Tracy whatsherface....stinks to me.

I have always thought she was a "Life Peer" and that meant that her title was not passed on to her offspring?

Her's won't, but the hereditary Baronetcy title passed to Thatcher Jnr, on his father's death, and then will be passed on to his American sprog on his death, etc.

Incidentally, two of the vilest men I ever had the misfortune to meet, Denis and Mark Thatcher.
