I need help please!
 

I need help someone please i have got windows xp, and my whole desktop is blank! i can only enter through the start menu, ive not dont anything on the comp to change anything its just a white blank screen. yet my partners desktop is fine.
I havent been in and tried anything cause i will probably make it worse. Please,please,please Thank you.

Hi MUMMIBOO, I’m no expert but I’m on xp. Try going in to Settings, Control Panel and then User Accounts. And make sure your user account is on. Good luck..

You could try the following:

start
control panel
performance and maintenance
system
system restore

system restore will restore your computers settings to a previous date,

but BE CAREFUL

You will loose any data that you may have entered and not saved.

It will take everything back to a previous date
