Well, Jaysay seems to have been a busy soul today, helpfully copying and pasting all these news stories that highlight how the Tory/LibDems are making life better for all of us.

But wait! What's this I see? Here's one he must have missed. Never mind, I'll do the copying and pasting for him. I'm sure he'll thank me tomorrow! ;)

Well if yer gonna use what they did then, lets go back a bit further, Who brought em in the first place? i seem to remember a Conservative M.P. going to the west indies n inviting em oer fer work on londons buses/ tubes etc etc, Then later when it got ridiculous Powell objected, made his infamous "Rivers Of Blood" speech n the gold ole Tories booted him out of the party. i am also aware of Mill owners in the north Advertising in various Asian papers fer workers to come oer, these two acts, did make sense at that time in fairness, as there was virtually Full Employment n jobs to be filled, these owners i'm sure were not socialists, yet apart from Powell who got punished fer his sins none of your lot had the backbone to stand up n say enoughs, enough, so your lot are equally as bad as Labour have been, i will admit it , you probably never will.:tongueout by the way the tory M.P. that went to West Indies was Enoch Powell,

Every Labour Government has left a complete dogs breakfast of an economy behind them, the biggest being the last incapable shower, as for immigration Labour though that an open door policy on immigration was a wonderful idea, Hmmm ;)

Re: More Common Sense

just as taggy says, theres going to be cuts galore and nobody will be there to implement these policies ,so its the same old thatcherite policies ,say something and let the opposite happen.ie stand up for britain, what really happened ripped the taxpayer off by selling every nationalised profit making organisation to their cronies for peanuts which didnt do anything for standing up for britain.;)

I'm not saying the last Goverment made a good job of the economy.. I'm saying this lot have an economic policy that can be compared to a third world country..it's all about cutting everything and telling us we are skint up to the eyeballs.. at the same time they are running us into a third world economy without a hint of of any future recovery...you rightly give Labour stick for the econmic situation created over the last 13 yrs.. but the Tories have not been in for 13 weeks and already they push out economic policies not seen since World War 2.. I don't believe them!

Have you ever actually spent time in a third world country, Mancie? I have and I can tell you that even with the cuts this government are making (many of which I don't agree with), their policy is nowhere near that of a third world country.

Before you start spouting such utter tripe, go and spend some time in a thrid world country...it might open your eyes a little.

You don't believe anything that doesn't fit your narrow minded view of the world we live in, you still believe that anybody that as a few bob are arrogant rich Tories, whereas in reality there are just as many left wing oiks who have plenty of money in the back sack, as I've said before the person with the most wealth sitting as a member in the last parliament wasn't a rich Tory nor a well healed Lib/dem it was a good old member of the Labour Party;)
