How old is the typical Accy web user

came across this item on the BBC World news site , surprised me a bit since it says that over half of the new users of the web are over 50 yrs old , considering the web has been around in general use for the last 12 years I would have though most of these folks ,( late 30s/early 40s 12 years ago) would have been on-line long ago

I hope no minds (site-owner or moderators) if I add a poll to find out the average age of Accy-web users .... are we just a bunch of old wrinklies and coffin dodgers or do we have any appeal/ attraction to the younger folks

I think if we had a poll for the mental age, of the typical Accy Web user, the findings would be somewhat lower.
