New Super Bug

BBC News - New 'superbug' found in UK hospitals

It appears there is another superbug been found in our hospitals although there are only about 50 cases so far its feared it could spread and mutate much like MRSA did. I seems this bug has origins in Pakistan and India, and is brought in by people who have had surgery in those countries, reminds me of the fact that in the 50s and early 60s TB had all but been eradicated in this country, but since the mass immigration it is now a concern again

I aint bovered
...because I know what to take if it happens to me.

I wont be telling you because most of you trust your doctors
....which is the way you feel most at ease with.
....and you likely wouldn't believe it if I did

Well I have no faith in doctors at all, after reading your posts in other threads I would believe you, If I still believe that a stocking with a piece of fatty bacon wrapped in it can cure a sore throat then I am up for it. Please share your secret. You have a responsibility to keep Accy Webbers healthy.:)

I have cured an abcess in 4 days without antibiotics because the stuff I use kills all known pathogens. I have chelated out mercury poisoning. I have curbed an overgrowth of candida - all by use of the same stuff.
The cost of the stuff is peanuts, and (the important bit) cannot be patented by pharmacutical companies - hence knowledge of it is being supressed
I am accustomed to being ridiculed here for my use of alternative medicine.
I will compile a PM reply of weblinks so that you can discover it for yourself if you wish to - I don't press my methods on anybody. The stuff I use is not for 'open discussion' - the person on my ignore list will not have access to the info but anyone else can simply ask.

Are we all going to die again?

There's me thinking I was akin to the invincible Captain Scarlet after somehow avoiding the last hundred 'superbugs' & 'epidemics'.

And now we are killing the badgers blaming them for TB. We still had badgers when we didn't have TB! Anybody or anthing to blame but the real reason....

That's an absolute lode of rubbish, in the early 60s TB was virtually eradicated in this country, but we still had badgers even then, TB only started to become a problem again when immigration started from Asia.

That was Withnell hospital cashy, which became BHRV Health Authority Chest Unit, This was closed in around 1987 when all he services were transferred to the new chest unit at Queens Park Ward E3 In the 70s and 80s the only people diagnosed with TB were people who had come to live here from the far east where TB is still riff today

I agree with you jaysay, that is what I was trying to say, that it is nothing to do with the badgers and everything to do with immigration.

Oh you got that in before me John. I worked on E3 as a first year Student Nurse......would be 1974. I loved that ward, though it was hard/heavy physical work. Sister Clarke took a liking to me and I got absolutely brilliant reports from her.......the Nursing Officer, John Fletcher even offered me a job when I qualified, and this was only my second allocation.
