Actually, in Hyndburn they have been responsible for several arrests regarding drugs-related offences and I will state again that in Rishton they are certainly very efficient and serve a useful purpose within our community.

The thing is though, I cannot understand how people like the Chief Constable think that they can get away with merely paying lip service to government demands. If I read the tealeaves correctly, and I think that I do, this will not be the only time that Gideon Osbourne has to stand up in the Commons and announce that more will have to be cut.

How long can a country continue to borrow money to pay itself to produce nothing? I know that we must have regulation and accountability but there comes a time surely when we will have effectively regulated ourselves into stagnation.
