Sorry Harriet Your not on
Express.co.uk - Home of the Daily and Sunday Express | UK News :: Harriet Harman hails ‘hero’ migrants who send welfare cash home
So Ms Harman thinks these people are heroic does she, then you wonder:mad::mad::mad: |
Re: Sorry Harriet Your not on
What a stupid woman...
Or IS she? Perhaps by encouraging this she is hoping we can cut down on our Foreign aide bills? Nah, she's just a stupid woman! :D |
Re: Sorry Harriet Your not on
It is time that this woman read the political signs.......how can we get it through to her that people who are not resident in this country should not be taking any benefits whatsoever.
I am all for migrants sending their own hard earned cash back home to their dependents, but please don't tax me to give to some family in Estonia/Romania/Poland or any other country that you care to mention. |

Re: Sorry Harriet Your not on
If legislation prevented sending money abroad, the tories couldn't invest offshore. tax free
|
Re: Sorry Harriet Your not on
I am not against sending money abroad.....but what I am against is paying beneefits for children who are not resident in the UK....and anyone else on other benefits who can afford to send money to their home country, is getting too much money.

If you earn £100 and spend it in a shop in this country you are putting that money back into the country. You pay tax when you spend it, the shop pays employees etc etc. If you earn £100 and spend it in another country that country gets the benefit and we loose out. |

Yes Neil, of course you are right. But if a man/woman has earned that money here and have family in another country then you cannot blame them for trying to support their family back home. Benefits should never ever be paid to those who wish to send this money home, and Harriet Harman is nuts to say that the government should make it easier for them to do this. If a worker is earning, then they will be paying something into the system....and they will be paying taxes on stuff that they buy. My gripe is really about those who come here having paid nothing in, but expecting to claim every benefit going. If you come into this country then you should have the finances to be able to support yourself(and your family) for at least two years. We are a soft touch and everyone knows it, that is why there are camps of asylum seekers in France who don't want to stay in France, but want to come to the Uk. |
Re: Sorry Harriet Your not on

I personally believe it for a few reasons - Left Foot Forward wouldn't have had to report it all if it wasn't for the fact that it was refuting the way the Daily Mail reported it. Left Foot Forward actually quote what Harriet Harman said instead of 'claims' The Daily Mail is just a tad biased. |
