its that time of year again - the 4am asda shopping spree
 

does anyone else do this?
I quite sadly like doing it..going out to asda at 4am for my chrimbo food shopping..wont be close to being half as busy as what it will be just now or earlier...just enough folk there to not get in your way and you have the pick of stuff with no other trolleys hitting your legs..
then getting home when some folk are just getting up and starting to think about going to what will be a heaving and stressful asda shopping trip :D
happy days indeed..

I have had a grocery delivery this week and have one booked for next week.
At this time of year it makes even more sense to stay in warm and use an online delivery service.
If you are thinking of doing it now you are too late - delivery slots are booked up over a week in advance.

I used to do this before having the boys. Can't now, not getting them up at stupid O'clock to go shopping, then id have to deal with irratable kids instead of irate shoppers :rolleyes:

I would do it if I could though, used to enjoy it, nice relaxed xmas shop and knowing its out of the way without the stress.

I'm not long back from asda, wasn't too hectic and the shelves were well stocked. There are quite a number of "whoops" items scattered about, gammon joints, turkeys etc so bargains to be had too. Did'nt wait long at all at the tills either so wasnt as bad as I thought.
