The worst of the worst examples of this is that donut Nicholas Witchell, the BBCs "Royal Correspondent". He makes you want to throw up.

Hardly the same thing.

You can't compare Witchell to the sheep that stand in the snow, or whatever weather, for a glimpse of the Germans.

Witchell should be given respect, for getting on Charle's royal wick.

Charles (under his breath) "These bloody people. I can't bear that man. I mean, he's so awful, he really is."

...and he gets paid, for doing it.

All that interbreeding has maintained the genetic traits of the common ancestor of European royalty - hence, they are 'less than human'

MargaretR, you never cease to entertain. Are you suggesting there is a direct line of descent over 650 years from a prince of Wallachia(where?) to our royal family and they are therefore interbred vampires? Or potential impalers? If so can you elaborate, please. Any proof of descent or vampire activity would be most interesting.

The topic is a 'hot potato'.
I have assembled my reply but prefer not to publish it in open forum.
Anyone with a genuine interest can PM me for it.

all i am saying is that when the queen dies that the royal family public duties should die with her,and we then set up a republic, after all the royal family is after all desended from the german line off succesion,ie the house of gotha sax-coburg and also the russian royal family, not exactly british are they, the name was changed to windsor when george Vth was king, before the start of WW 1,and even now if the surname is windsor why is william and harry last name wales,as thats a heredatory title ie prince of wales, even in australia they are thinking about doing something like this. dont get me wrong the queen has done a great job but myself i think its time for a change as the UK has been a monarchy since 846 A.D (ie ruled by kings or queens)

If you prefer not to live in a country ruled by a Monarch, why not emigrate and become a citizen of a Republic or somewhere similar, such as North Korea or Iran????????????
