Why Can't Macdees Be Convenient?

All I wanted was to save myself the bother of cooking, I was passing their place so foolishly called in.
A cheese burger type meal, BUT I didn't want it with a carton three quarters full of ice cubes.

I asked, "can I have cheese burger with chips but I don't want the drink, perhaps instead of that could I have an extra portion of chips? I don't mind paying the same price".

No, was the reply we only do set meals.

But I would like to order what I want not what you say I can have I replied.

A quick check with her boss and no, under no circumstances can I choose unless it's a set order.

If I go to a chippy or a kibab shop they will alter anything to my needs, why can't Macdees?

I left as I had arrived with nothing.
:o

Ain't that just typical Less, its an entirely new slant on the Jobs Worth, then they wonder why places like that close when they're turning away business :(

Unfortunately it was and for some strange reason no doubt will remain busy.

Until people demand a choice of their own.

My way of thinking Less, is that when somebody comes through the door to buy something don't let um out until they've bought somat, and the most important rule in any retail outlet is the customer is always right, so give him what he wants;)

That I can go along with, espescially if the customer is being polite during the whole conversation, (which I was, but I left as if I had been stupid for asking).

I think it is so the delinquent staff don't have to count or tax their little brain cells in any other way. As they say you pay peanuts you get....... :D:D:D:D

The two people concerned would probably have looked at each other when you walked out Less and said that told him, maybe you could be passing when they're locking the door for the last time, you could always say I'm not surprised:rolleyes:

Why didn't you just ask for a cheeseburger and two portions of chips, if that's what you wanted? They sell everything separately.

I don't use the place very often, why, if they do that couldn't she or her manager have said that I could?

After all, I wanted nothing more.
