Does that mean that the Black Horse could be bought for residential use or has it to remain a pub?

The first plot, back of the coppice is interesting. It's area I know well, I do a lot of walking over there. I'll be keeping a watching brief on that one. It also says contact Blackburn Planning Department. Why Blackburn I don't know.

In theory it could I suppose Lindsay. But they would need change of use I would imagine. We also have a Town Centre Plan, which is supposed to control what type of development will be allowed in the town centre. So that could have some bearing on it.

Just noticed that there's a "For Auction" sign on the old wharf building next to the old Church Commercial. Will the preservation order stay on it if it is sold?

No they may have the fishing rights but the lodges are owned by united utilities;)

I saw the plot by the lodges for sale on a website a few months back.

I assume it hasn't sold because there is some upkeep clause with the lodges etc.? I might be wrong...

How about all us "Accywebbers" club together and buy the lodge? That would be brill - we could have meetings up there in the summer time and charge for anyone to fish there!

^^ My tenners in the post :)

I'm surprised that the people up at spire farm or those nice cottages (riley?) haven't put an offer in to stop someone else doing something daft or unsightly with it.

A food hall is like the little one in Ossy Mills (cheese stall, butchers, meat and pie stall) I think.
Small stalls selling different things from local places under one roof.

Smaller version, better for companies just setting up or small businesses as it wont cost as much to rent the space.

Like I said thats what I am led to believe a Food Hall is. :D

I'll look forward to visiting it, was one of my fave pubs for ages and good to see it being used for something, I hope you aren't overstretching yourselves here though, much as I (and others I know) like a taste of the exotic most of the Accy populace wouldn't know a sundried tomato if you stuffed it up their nose!
