I can't speak personally about the merits of them local Chamber of Commerce, but everytime I've ever read a statement they've made in the press, what they said made perfect sense. At least to me.

East Lancashire Chamber of Commerce | Video Conferencing Lancashire, Specialised Business Training Courses, East Lancs Business Support, Event Management, Commercial Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, E-Government Strategies, Exporting Opportunitie

I might be mixed up.

Is there an Accrington Chamber of Trade?

If so, it's them that seem to talk sense, when it comes to business development in the town.

'At a meeting last week, Members of Hyndburn Chamber of Trade decided to return to their original founding name of Accrington and District Chamber of Trade.'

'In the event of the borough changing from Hyndburn.'

Chamber decision made

Scrub that. They sound like morons.

:rofl38::rofl38::rofl38:

Seriously, re: the Chamber of Commerce, l think a relative was a member. Fine if your business would benefit from networking, and similar support.

Personally I'd think of more profitable ways the money could be used for.

I did Google and found that same article first. Still not found out any actual contact details though.
