Blackburn with Darwen council have won the Best Council In Britain title.

Sureley an A* rated council like Hynburn should be walking away with this title. Time for mass resignations and rolling heads I reckon :rolleyes:

From what I read, less than 80 of the nearly 400 councils actually applied for this honour. Maybe Britcilffe has got better plans on spending money, than on awards. OOpppss sorry, he has two this year. One for himself, and one for the building, that has family connections.

Maybe he couldn't afford to waste the cash, as he is now funding a local, buy our votes prior to the election campaign.(Allegedly):p

For "Best Council in Britain" read "Champion Box Tickers". It really is as meaningless as that.

The other 320 councils have better things to do.

The reason we got best market was because it was voted for by people who promote markets. Hyndburn secured the most money for refurbing so therefore it goes hand in glove "most funds = best market".......ALLEGEDLY..:D:D:D
