woo hoo - got a new job !
 

as the title says..:dancedog:

after 2 intense interviews lasting 4 hours in total...I got a call today to say I have been offered the job which I have took.:).
start end of may - £3k more than I am just now.. and pay reviewed after 6 months which will go to what I asked for to start with;)..
30 odd days holiday and every other weekend off with bonus and healthcare..
have to say I am quite chuffed..

just gotta do my resignation letter now:o

nice to buck the trend for once..

What I really hope though is that you got them to put it down on paper, I did similar in my youth, when it came around to the re-assesment, I was asked by a different boss what proof I had about the promises.

If they have given you some, keep hold of your copy.

I have actually - all they went through with me I asked for it to be put on paper and sent to me..which to their credit they have done.
so all good so far.

still surprised I got the job though...didnt think I had a chance..

To be fair mate looking at your photo and seeing that your on 30k God knows what your going to be earning when you get to 16!

Well done to you , i am in the same situation as you i have just got a new job, having left my previous employment after 11 years, as you have said so far so good.
