Currys Digital

Who thinks there should be a Currys Digital in Blackburn Town Centre???:confused::confused::confused:. It would save alot of time than going to Whitebirk and Burnley!.

There used to be a Dixons in Blackburn Town Centre, but it closed down in 2004;
Loss of 15 jobs as shop closes (From Lancashire Telegraph)

PC World, Currys Digital and Dixons have all been experiencing troubled trading times.......there have been a few times when they have been as close as a gnats wotsits to closing forever.
It is a cut throat business(electrical retailing) and there just isn't the trade in Accrington...if there were, then they would open in a flash.

There was a Currys in the Mall in Blackburn. It closed and moved to Whitebirk retail park. It used to at the top of the escalator where Republic is now.

They are, they're in Rishton.

The Whitebirk Retail Park has just had planning applications put in for major improvements to the layout.

Neil, I somehow think he meant in the Arndale, or at least in Accrington town centre.
I'm sure I will be corrected if wrong.
