I don't think the finances are as bad as has been suggested.

I notice he is seemingly sufficiently advised to have blocked his v-card from being downloaded.

If it is The One then I would probably suggest a more open approach on this forum.

To be honest Ken I wouldn't know how to bloke my V card nor would I want to, but I honestly think if PB was going to join this site and bloke his V card, why would he us PeterB as a screen name, doesn't fly with me:rolleyes:

This subject always makes me smile.

Will you be saying the same about the new leader if he does not join?

I wouldn't bank on seeing Miles on the forum anytime soon, it's not his style at all.

On the other hand, don't expect to hear him slagging Accyweb off or trying to get it shut down because a couple of members make a bad comment about the Labour group. There probably won't be HBC staff reading the forum on his behalf and I find it unlikely that he will be proclaiming his declarations under a weighty pseudonym as if via a third party. I wouldn't expect him to ask for threads to be deleted or posts to be removed on the grounds that they don't paint him in a flattering light, either.

There's always the libel courts but I personally wouldn't go down that route without a very good reason.

No, Miles does not strike me as being the publicity hungry person that PB appeared to be.
He is the kind of chap who quietly gets on with what needs doing......the less fuss, the better.

I can live with that.

Jaysay......you mentioned PB was photogenic(should've gone to Specsavers, Jay).......that would not be my descriptive term for him! :D

Coughs and sneezes spread diseases.

So do brown-nosers.

Especially when they've had to quickly remove their snout from one unsavoury place, and start shoving their proboscis up pastures new.
